Author Guidelines

We welcome authors to submit manuscripts to Artificial Intelligence and Scientific Research (AIASR). All submissions will be reviewed by the editorial team to ensure they align with the journal's aims and scope. Manuscripts that meet these requirements will be sent for peer review, after which a decision will be made regarding acceptance or rejection.

Prior to submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission for any materials included in their manuscript, such as images, documents, and datasets. All listed authors must agree to be recognized as contributors. Where applicable, research must have received appropriate ethical approval from relevant institutional review boards in accordance with national regulations.

If a submission does not meet the minimum quality standards, the editors may reject it before peer review. Authors should ensure that their research is well-structured, with clear methodologies and properly formatted data presentation. Titles should be concise, and abstracts should be well-structured to improve the likelihood of acceptance.

Once you are confident that your submission meets these standards, please prepare your manuscript according to the checklist below.

1. Submission Requirements

AISR accepts high-quality original research articles, review papers, technical reports, and commentary articles. Authors must ensure that their manuscript:

  • Has not been published elsewhere (journal or conference).

  • Does not involve plagiarism or academic misconduct.

2. Manuscript Formatting

Submissions must adhere to the following formatting guidelines:

  • Language: Written in English with clear and professional expression.

  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.docx) or LaTeX (.tex) with an accompanying PDF version.

  • Layout: Single-column format, 1.5 line spacing, Times New Roman, 12 pt font.

  • Page Limits:

    • Research Papers: 8–15 pages

    • Review Articles: 10–20 pages

    • Technical Reports or Commentaries: 5–10 pages

  • Figures & Tables: High resolution (≥300 dpi), embedded in the text and provided as separate files (JPEG/PNG/SVG).

  • Citation Format: APA or IEEE format, with complete and accurate references.

3. Manuscript Structure

  • Title: Concise and informative, reflecting the core content of the research.

  • Author Information: Full names, affiliations, correspondence address, and email.

  • Abstract (150–250 words): Summarizes the research objectives, methods, results, and contributions.

  • Keywords (3–6 terms): Highlight key research themes.

  • Main Text:

    • Introduction

    • Methodology

    • Experiments & Analysis

    • Results & Discussion

    • Conclusion

  • Acknowledgments (Optional): Acknowledge funding sources, collaborators, etc.

  • References: At least 15 recent, high-quality references.

4. Submission Process

  • Online Submission: All manuscripts must be submitted via the journal's online submission system ([Submission Link]).

  • Initial Review: The editorial team will check the manuscript’s format and content compliance.

  • Peer Review: Double-blind review process, typically taking 4–6 weeks.

  • Revisions & Acceptance: Authors revise their manuscript based on peer feedback and submit a revised version.

  • Final Acceptance: Once approved, the manuscript proceeds to typesetting and publication.

5. Open Access & Copyright Policy

  • AISR is a fully open-access journal.

  • Authors retain copyright and may choose between:

    • CC BY 4.0 (Creative Commons Attribution 4.0)

    • CC BY-NC 4.0 (Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0)

  • Authors are encouraged to share their papers on institutional repositories, arXiv, and other platforms.

6. Ethical Statement

  • Authors must adhere to academic integrity and avoid plagiarism, duplicate submission, or research misconduct.

  • Studies involving human or animal subjects must provide ethical approval documents.

  • If AI-generated content is used, its role must be clearly stated in the Methods section.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements:

  • The manuscript complies with the guidelines outlined in the Author Guidelines.

  • The manuscript has been previously published and is also under review by other journals.

  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.

  • All tables and figures are properly numbered and labeled.

  • Permission has been obtained to publish all included photos, datasets, and other materials.

Licensing Terms

Artificial Intelligence and Scientific Research (AISAR) is an open-access journal that adheres to internationally recognized open-access licensing agreements. This ensures the free dissemination of research findings and maximizes their impact.

1. Creative Commons Licensing

All articles published in AIASR follow a Creative Commons (CC) license, allowing flexible sharing and reuse while ensuring proper attribution. Authors may choose from the following licensing options:

  • CC BY 4.0 (Attribution 4.0 International) [Default & Recommended]

    • Permits anyone to share, copy, distribute, and adapt the article, including for commercial purposes, as long as the original author is credited and the original source is cited.

    • Recommended for authors who wish to maximize the reach and impact of their research.

  • CC BY-NC 4.0 (Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International) [Optional]

    • Allows others to share, copy, distribute, and adapt the article for non-commercial purposes only, while still requiring attribution to the original author and source.

    • Suitable for authors who prefer to restrict commercial use of their work.

By default, AISR applies the CC BY 4.0 license to all published articles. Authors who prefer the CC BY-NC 4.0 license must indicate their preference at the time of submission.

2. Copyright Ownership

Authors retain full copyright of their papers while granting AISR the right to publish and distribute them under an open-access model.

After publication, authors are free to:

  • Share their work on personal websites, institutional repositories, or academic platforms (e.g., ResearchGate).

  • Use the work for lectures, conference presentations, and educational materials.

  • Apply for patents or conduct further research without restrictions from the journal.

3. Self-Archiving Policy

AISR supports self-archiving to promote open science. Authors may deposit their work at different stages of publication:

  • Preprint (Before Submission)

    • Authors may deposit their unreviewed manuscript on preprint servers (e.g., arXiv, bioRxiv, SSRN).

  • Accepted Manuscript (After Peer Review, Before Publication)

    • Once accepted, authors may store the peer-reviewed but unformatted version in institutional repositories or academic networks (e.g., ResearchGate).

  • Published Version (Final Formatted PDF)

    • Authors may archive the final published version, provided they cite the original source and include the article’s DOI link.

4. Article Usage & Reuse

Any individual, institution, or third party may use, redistribute, and modify AISR articles under the selected Creative Commons license.

  • Proper attribution and DOI citation are required for all forms of reuse.

  • All articles are freely accessible without subscription fees, allowing unrestricted reading, downloading, and sharing.

5. Copyright Statement

By submitting to AISR, authors agree to these licensing terms.

AISR reserves the right to take legal action against any violations, including:

  • Failure to provide proper attribution when reusing articles.

  • Unauthorized commercial use under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license.
