Let Pingshu Go Out to the World——Exploring a New Path For the Spread of Chinese Civilization’s Discourse Dissemination

Abstract

At present, the international situation is complex and it is of great national strategic significance to do a good job in the construction of China’s modern discourse system and overseas discourse dissemination. Facing the three major challenges facing discourse communication——cultural differences, political suppression, and single means, we should make full use of our own cultural advantages and civilization wisdom to carry out innovative expressions, and broaden the international vision and influence of Chinese civilization discourse dissemination with the help of rich modern communication methods, so as to show the world our "Chinese-style discourse" that contains a new form of human civilization. Therefore, based on the more than 5,000 years of civilization of the Chinese nation, this paper explores the contemporary value of Pingshu as a traditional art form, and discusses how to carry forward Pingshu overseas from four aspects: text selection, narrative strategy, non-governmental cooperation, and technology application, in order to provide a new path for the dissemination of China's discourse and promote the dissemination and recognition of China's overseas discourse, and then lead the harmony and co-prosperity of global cultural exchanges.
