Abstract
This paper explores the future development paradigms of smallholder economies and the opportunities presented by the Internet. The study begins with an examination of the current state of smallholder economies in China, including their characteristics, development status, and the impact of Internet technology on their operations and market opportunities. The second chapter analyzes the key challenges and issues faced by smallholder economies, such as resource and technology limitations, market access barriers, and inadequate policy support. The final chapter proposes strategic recommendations and development paradigms for enhancing the productivity and sustainability of smallholder economies in the Internet era. The study highlights the transformative potential of Internet technologies in empowering smallholder farmers, fostering new cooperation models, and providing policy recommendations to leverage Internet-driven opportunities for sustainable agricultural development.
