Abstract

Over time, the southern area of Jinzhou World Expo Park has gradually fallen into disuse due to various factors including its remote location, sparse population, and aging infrastructure. This study aims to propose a series of specific renovation concepts to rejuvenate this area through a strategy of integrating culture and tourism. Initially, the study conducts a detailed analysis of the regional topography using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and assesses the existing ecological environment, while also collecting the needs and expectations of residents and visitors through community surveys. Based on these data, a comprehensive park renovation plan is proposed, including the optimization of landscape design, the introduction of innovative agricultural technologies, and the enhancement of public service facilities. The paper further discusses implementation strategies, emphasizing the importance of phased implementation and continuous evaluation to ensure the sustainable development of the project and maximize socio-economic benefits. Through these renovation concepts, the southern area of Jinzhou World Expo Park is expected to transform into a multifunctional area that integrates cultural experience, eco-tourism, and agricultural innovation, injecting new vitality into the local economy and providing a replicable model for other similar areas.
